Many lawyers find immigration evaluations to be an essential tool for some USCIS petitions. <\/b>Proceedings that involve <\/span>Extreme hardship<\/b>, <\/span>Domestic violence (visa VAWA)<\/b>, <\/span>crime victim (visa U)<\/b> and <\/span>political asylum<\/b> benefit greatly from a comprehensive immigration evaluation.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column css_animation=”fadeIn” width=”1\/2″]

Different factors such as personal history, family dynamic, medical issues, psychological issues, education and financial\/social factors need to be documented through an immigration evaluation as well as the clinical implications of these factors in relation to the possibility of the loved one\u2019s deportation and\/or moving abroad. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Political Asylum” title_tag=”h2″][vc_column_text]Psychosocial evaluations for Political Asylum are important to collect information about abuse and<\/b> mistreatment <\/b>and to better understand the psychological impact that extreme deprivation<\/span>, <\/span>psychological trauma, torture and\/or <\/span>psychological distress could have caused on the immigrant due to severe social or political conflicts in her\/his country of origin.<\/b> These evaluations will be important to identify potential trauma, mental disorders and PTSD.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Domestic abuse \u2013 Visa VAWA” title_tag=”h2″][vc_column_text] Domestic Abuse evaluations help to determine the psychological impact of abuse<\/b> and to assess whether abuse is still present. <\/span>This evaluation<\/b> is important as abuse cannot always be obvious.<\/b> \u00a0These <\/span>evaluations can be critical to demonstrate domestic violence or abuse<\/b> which can include: physical, verbal and\/or sexual abuse.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Crime Victim – U visa” title_tag=”h2″][vc_column_text]As victims of crimes usually suffer from severe trauma and emotional distress<\/b>; an evaluation is important in these cases to <\/span>demonstrate the complexity of the trauma or any other mental disorder<\/b> and therefore, increase the chances of secure immigration status in the United States to get ongoing treatment.
