ABOUT

GABRIELA R.
GIUGGIOLONI LCSW-R

I am a psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families.  I obtained my master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina where I practiced psychoanalysis for many years.  I have also received my degree in social work at New York University as I continued growing and enhancing my knowledge in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Lacanian psychoanalysis and clinical skills. My private practice as a licensed clinical social worker in New York state is located in NYC and Astoria, Queens.

My personal and professional life has been transformed since I migrated to New York City. This is all thanks to the human and cultural diversity I have been exposed to in this fascinating city. I am always thrilled to work and to welcome people from different cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs. I have had clients from across the world with no discrimination to their backgrounds, beliefs, sexual orientation or race.

My practice has contributed to my growth over the years, and I often work with people who tend to stand out from the crowd- Immigrants, LGBTQ, and the Black community, among others. I believe that there is a place for everything and everyone, which encourages me to open my mind to a well of limitless possibilities and continue to embrace everyone who comes my way to seek my professional help.

While I have worked with people of different ages and diagnoses, I have found my strength in the area of relationships. My goal is to see more people do better with their relationships with themselves and their social and personal environments.
